WSET qualifications can be obtained in different ways. WineWise’s core activity is in-company training, customised for your company. We also offer face-to-face guidance, in combination with self-study and a closer study of your own assortment. Request a quote without obligation.
If you would like to take an individual course, you can do this classically or online. Dates and locations are listed under the qualifications.
WineWise is there to help when it comes to choosing the course that is right for you. You do not necessarily have to start at level 1. Depending on your prior knowledge, you can step in at a higher level. See “further information” for the prior knowledge you need.

WSET Level 1 Sake

A beginner level introduction to sake for those starting a career in the industry or pursuing an interest in sake. For individuals new to the subject, this qualification offers a hands-on introduction to the world of sake. You’ll explore the main styles and types of sake through sight, smell and taste to develop an understanding of the key factors affecting flavours and aromas. Specifications.
Language: The course is entirely in English.

WSET Level 1 Spirits
A beginner level introduction to spirits for those starting a career in the industry or pursuing an interest in spirits. WSET Level 1 Wines

A beginner level introduction to wine suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine.
For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings.

We don’t offer this course for individual people. But you can bring a group together of at least 8 students and we come to your place.

WSET Level 2 Spirits

A beginner to intermediate level qualification exploring spirits and liqueurs for those working in the industry or spirits enthusiasts. You develop your expertise in spirits and liqueurs and you’ll learn about the fundamental production methods, the principal raw materials discovering how they are used to make the key spirit styles. You’ll also explore the key practices and principles of serving spirits and the use of spirits in cocktails. Specification.
Language: The course is entirely in English.

WSET Level 2 Wines

A beginner to intermediate level qualification exploring wines for those working in the industry or wine enthusiasts. For individuals seeking a core understanding of wines, this qualification explores the major grape varieties and important wine regions in which they are grown. You’ll learn about the styles of wines produced from these grapes as well as key classifications and labelling terminology. Specification.
Language: The course is available in English, Dutch or French.

WSET Level 3 Wines

An advanced level qualification for professionals working in the wine industry and for wine enthusiasts. For individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. Specification.
Language:  The course is offered in English, Dutch or French. If you plan to do WSET Level 4 we recommend you to do WSET Level 3 in English.

WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines Start Class

A specialist level qualification providing expert level knowledge in all aspects of wine of interntional top level. The WSET Level 4 Diploma is WSET’s flagship qualification developed to prepare people for higher positions in the wine and beverage sector. The course brings product knowledge and tasting skills to a specialist level, with the emphasis on the professional approach to wine. The Diploma Course is taught by an international team of experienced Masters of Wine and / or specialists in their subject. The Diploma is internationally recognized and has a high status both at home and abroad. Moreover, it is also universally viewed as the stepping stone to the Master of Wine qualification. WineWise is the only Diploma provider for the Benelux.  All students kick off with the START module (D1, D2, D6). Afterwards you can decide to do D3, D4, and D5 in class or online.  Specification.
