WineWise courses – WSET Online
Why study online?
The online courses are structured and interactive learning programmes that also leave room for flexible planning. Students can log in whenever they want (at least once a week), study the contents and summaries of the weekly subjects, participate in online activities, practice tasting, post reactions and participate in online class discussions. There are NO specific dates or hours that you have to follow classes.
How does it work?
After registration you will receive an e-mail from WSET ® with instructions for logging onto the Online Classroom. Once logged in, you will receive a course calendar with the weekly subjects, background information to read, activities relevant for each subject, tasting assignments (students have to supply their own samples) and quizzes. The results of your activities and tasting assignments need to be posted online. You can exchange reactions with the instructor and fellow students online. This interaction is crucial for success in this course. One or more mock exams form part of the study, depending on the level of the course. Click here for the WSET’s online classroom demo.
NEW! Tasting samples available for online study.
With online guidance you will receive a list of key wines that you can purchase from your wine supplier.
From now on you can also opt to order a selection of tasting samples (Vinottes) to guide your online study. The wines in each package include the recommended samples for each qualification (excluding sparkling wines) and provide an affordable and convenient way to sample a wide variety of representative styles. These are delivered to your home and are valid for the period of the online course.
Prices including VAT and transport.

* WSET Level 2: 40 Vinottes – € 170
* WSET Level 3: 64 Vinottes – € 275

The online guidance is always in English. Study material and exams for online candidates are also in English. The book can be ordered extra in Dutch or French for an additional fee. This info is stated in the separate courses.
It´s the student´s own responsibility to have reliable internet access and to download the necessary software to open PDF files. Many assignments and attachments are posted as PDF files.
