WineWise WSET® Alumni
WineWise WSET ® Alumni is the alumni association of WineWise. All WineWise students who participated in a WSET ® exam can join this group. It represents a dynamic, global community of 500 + alumni in the Benelux and a few other European countries. It is an active platform where students have the opportunity for professional networking and "lifelong learning" to improve their wine knowledge.
If you, as WineWise WSET ® alumni, want to be part of, and contribute to the mission and goals, you can join the WineWise WSET ® Alumni Linked In Group.
Holders of the WSET Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits will be permitted to use a logo/device (the designation "WSET Certified") on business cards, letterheads and other personal documentation.
Students need to inform WineWise and will be registered for that, free of charge.
WSET Level 3 Award holders can request to become a WineWise Trainer.

Diploma Graduates from the Benelux
Upon successfully passing the WSET® Diploma, candidates are eligible to become an Associate member of the Institute of Wines & Spirits. This entitles them to use the letters AIWS after their name, giving them the recognition that they deserve. You can find a list of ALL our Benelux Diploma Graduates beneath.
All Diploma students AND Diploma Graduates become a member of the Institute of Wines and Spirits (IWS).
The IWS website is a valuable online resource that caters for the professional needs of diploma students and graduates on a daily basis. It is a source of highly relevant information and an essential communication platform for members, Diploma APPs and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
Being a member of the IWS is a valuable asset whilst studying for the WSET® Diploma. It has been designed to support candidates while studying and helps them to maintain their knowledge through
Continued Professional Development after they have graduated.

The following people did do a great effort to become a WSET Diploma Graduate:
Weinakademiker (WA) is a European wine title awarded to those who successfully completed the WSET Diploma course AND enter a dissertation of 5000 words on a chosen topic dealing with the wine and spirit industry. This title is awarded by the Austrian Weinakademie with whome WineWise works closely togheter. The oral defense of the thesis is done at the University of Geisenheim (Germany) in the presence of Masters of Wine and Weinakademikers from across Europe.
The title "Weinakademiker" is bound to a membership to the Weinakademiker Club. Members receive plenty of opportunities to improve their wine knowledge on the basis of tastings, seminars, lectures, study trips, symposia, and other interesting wine events.
